       4.The smoke and air valves must be of the standard type, and in terms of the correct assembly of the valve stem on the valve gate of the cylinder head, the necessary care must be taken. If you see any looseness or stiffness beyond the permissible limit, replace the valve.

    5. The diameter of the sealing area of ​​the valve felt bowl (valve rubber) has been carefully checked and if there is a discrepancy in the size of the sealing edge, the use of the corresponding felt bowl should be prevented and a standard felt bowl should be prepared. It is worth noting that using a non-standard felt bowl causes the engine to burn oil and emit excessive smoke from the exhaust.

Note: due to the nature of the cylinder head part and its continuous exposure to mechanical and thermal stresses, the presence of defects in the peripheral parts such as the components of the cooling system (thermostat, fan, water temperature sensor, water pump, etc.) can cause the failure of the cylinder head

      6. Before assembling the cylinder head on the cylinder block, it should be ensured that the cylinder block is free of any uneven surface, scratches and excessive wear, and that its height is in accordance with the standard.

    7. Before installing the cylinder head, make sure that the cylinder bushings are correctly assembled on the cylinder block (cylinder heads that have separate bushings). The amount of rising and levelness of the bushings relative to each other and relative to the cylinder block must be carefully controlled by a special tool according to the standard. Otherwise, it will cause leakage from the surface under the cylinder and interference of water and oil in the engine.

8. Before assembling the cylinder head, the deposits on the threads of the cylinder head screws and the cylinder block should be completely cleaned with a wire brush and suitable tools.

   9. Make sure the correct placement of the cylinder head gasket on the cylinder block. Improper installation causes the cylinder head to heat up.

   10. When assembling the cylinder head on the cylinder block, healthy and standard screws should be used, and during installation, special paste and glue should be used on the threads to seal and prevent rust.

   11. When assembling the cylinder head bolts, the surface under the bolt should be smeared with oil to reduce the frictional force of bolt tightening.

   12. It is correct to tighten the cylinder head screws in a spiral manner and in several stages by applying an angular torque. If this is not observed, the cylinder head will be bent and the sealing will not be done correctly, causing leakage from the surface under the cylinder and water and oil interference.

  13. Match the surfaces of the smoke and air manifolds to the cylinder head. Mismatch of smoke and air manifolds with the cylinder head has the following consequences:

 Leaking smoke

 Increasing air pollution

 Entering the intake air into the chamber

 Unbalancing the power and cylinder power

 Engine vibrations

 Rising engine temperature

 More fuel consumption

 Leaking coolant

 

When closing the manifolds, in addition to using a new washer, you must be careful in closing the connection screws correctly.

 

 15. Clean the location of the thermostat and make sure that there are no pleats under it.

 16. When assembling the parts on the cylinder head, make sure that all the side parts are properly in place.

Use the appropriate oil recommended by the car manufacturer
